08/01/03 -- Recorded a single track for the "Grace Project" -- somewhat in the Evanescence vein.
06/01/03 -- Recorded a 6 song record for punk band "Restore 4".
04/26/03 -- Recorded a 5 song CD for the punk/alternative band "Fist Fight Cover-up".
03/05/03 -- New Brent Averill API 312 Mic Preamps arrive.
01/25/03 -- Recorded a 6 song demo for Portland-based blues/rock band "No Alibi".
01/23/03 -- Ensadum in the studio with new vocalist, Micah. 4 song demo is just about complete. The band is making a push to get some well-deserved recognition. Check out the new samples here.
12/19/02 -- I've been working diligently on practicing some baroque keyboard music to get it to the level it's worth recording. As with all classical music, the effort is not trivial.
12/15/02 -- Recorded a 6 song demo for metal band "Dead Unknown".
11/15/02 -- Stereo Division in the studio with their new vocalist.
10/21/02 -- Recorded a single for the local hard rock band "Grip 101".
10/15/02 -- Completed a six song demo for the punk band "LostKoz".
09/29/02 -- 6 song demo for the band "Screaming Evils" completed. Check out the sound samples page for some examples and a link to their web site.
09/27/02 -- Studio has acquired a vintage Ampex AG-440B two track analog mastering tape deck. Will the desire for heavy, expensive things never cease?
09/22/02 -- Punk Band "Warped Society" blasts through a 4 song demo in an afternoon, including tracking, overdubs, mixing and mastering. Now that's quick! New sound samples loaded.
09/07/02 -- The first phase of acoustic treatment is now complete. Ten broadband absorbers using Owens-Corning 703 material have been built and mounted on the walls. This has resulted in a room free from flutter echoes and bass boom. The tracking room sounds pretty good!
08/24/02 -- Analog recorder back in service. We also have the ability to sync the tape deck with the computer recorder. This gives us the ability to record 17 simultaneous tracks (7 analog -- 1 is used for timecode, 10 to the digital recorder).
08/20/02 -- 4 song demo for band "LynchPin" completed. LynchPin is on the road to L.A. to seek a record contract with demo in hand.
08/10/02 -- Otari arrives, but needs heads to be relapped.
07/25/02 -- Otari MX-5050 MKIII 8 -Track Analog Recorder on the way
07/23/02 -- Version 2.0 of the website published.
06/15/02 -- New project started with local metal band "Never Again". We're recording a 5 song demo.
05/01/02 -- Project started with alt-metal band "Stereo Division". 6 song demo in process.
03/01/02 -- German-made August Forster grand piano arrives. Now custom regulated and concert tuned. Try finding any studio in the area with a piano of this quality! Listen to the sound samples!
02/01/02 -- Project continuing with the band "Fossil". 4 song demo in process.
12/31/01 -- Silencer 6 song demo project completed.
11/01/01 -- Project begun with rapper JMJ.
