  Why Record at Soundscribe?

Due to advances in technology, it is no longer necessary to spend a lot of money to get a professional recording. If you're impressed by a big console, with lots of lights and moving faders, Soundscribe is probably not for you. If you want an expensive place to party we're not your kind of place either.

If you're looking for a relaxed, friendly, yet professional environment, Soundscribe may be right for you.  While relaxed, recording sessions are focused, professional and productive. Many of my clients have told me "this was the best recording studio experience we've had".

What makes a great recording experience? Equipment that works, a knowledgeable, flexible engineer and a productive working environment. My tracking room is large and I work directly with you as you're recording. There isn't the sense of isolation you get when working in separate rooms. This doesn't mean sounds aren't isolated. I have several rooms to use for recording loud sources such as guitars and typically overdub vocals. This process results in as clean a recording as possible, but still allows for the band to play the basic parts at one time.

The distinction between "professional" studio and home/project studio has blurred. Many commercial recordings today are recorded in basements, living rooms and garages. If you weren't there when the recording was made, you would never know. Soundscribe has the equipment and I have the skill to get your recording to sound the way you want. My goal is to help you create a great-sounding record or demo so you can get the recognition you deserve.
